If your headcount exceeds the package threshold, a simple pro-rata fee of R20 per employee per month applies. This is calculated on your discounted base rate first, then added on top. No hidden surprises.

Your R2,500 audit fee covers your onboarding. No additional setup fee applies, you roll straight into your package from day one.

Cancel early on any SLA: Pay the R2,500 setup fee that was waived. No other penalties. If you complete your full commitment, the fee drops away permanently.

We've always managed compliance in-house, why outsource it now?

Because managing it in-house works until it doesn't and with the 2025–2028 MIBCO agreement in effect, "until it doesn't" is happening to more businesses than ever. That's what the package is for. If a MIBCO issue arises, a non-compliance notice, an inspector visit, a wage query from an employee - your compliance team is already on it. On Command, that includes full DRC representation if a dispute goes that far. We don't just set up your compliance and disappear. We manage it, month after month, and we deal with problems when they come up.

Yes. Core starts from R1,000/month for up to 50 employees a small price for complete MIBCO compliance and online returns management. The exposure from a single compliance gap at a small business is exactly the same as it is for a large one. MIBCO doesn't scale its penalties to your headcount.

Logical Review & Clarification

Questions about the packages.

Your discounted base rate is calculated first based on your commitment tier. Pro-rata fees are then added on top at R20 per employee per month for every employee above your package threshold. For example, a Core client on a 12-month SLA with 60 employees pays R900 (discounted base) + R200 (10 employees × R20) = R1,100/month. Your exact rate is confirmed on your discovery call once we know your headcount.
Your pro-rata component adjusts with your headcount monthly. The R20 per employee overage is always applied to employees above your package threshold, on top of your locked-in discounted base rate. If you reduce staff below your threshold, the pro-rata falls away and you pay only your base rate. All changes are tracked monthly as part of your compliance management.
Yes. Upgrading from Core to Assure or from Assure to Command is straightforward — your account is already set up and your compliance history is already with us. There's no new onboarding fee when you upgrade within a package tier.
Core handles compliance and reconciles your payroll to make sure it's correct. Assure goes further — we run your payroll entirely, so you're not doing any payroll processing in-house at all. You also get a dedicated named advisor, unlimited advisory access during office hours, and faster response times. The practical difference is that on Core you're still doing payroll processing and coming to us with questions when they arise. On Assure, neither of those things is your job anymore.
Command includes the full scope of our compliance management services — DRC representation, pre-inspection audits, document creation, payroll administration, returns management, and senior specialist access. The only costs outside of the monthly rate are pro-rata fees for employees above 500 and, where applicable, on-site visit costs if your business requires physical attendance.
Once your discovery call is complete and your package is confirmed, onboarding typically takes 3–5 business days. We review your current compliance status, set up your account, and take over management from the next billing cycle.
Month-to-month packages have no lock-in — cancel anytime. SLA commitments (12, 24, or 36 months) waive the R2,500 setup fee and unlock discounts and free months. If you exit an SLA early, you pay the R2,500 setup fee that was waived. That's the only penalty. Complete your commitment and the fee drops away permanently.
