MIBCO runs six regions: Highveld, Northern, Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Free State / Northern Cape and Western Cape. Your region depends on the magisterial district where your business operates, not your province. Most regions also run satellite offices. Find your nearest town below. Where do I send a MIBCO wage exemption application?
Send it to your local MIBCO Regional Office, not head office. Hand delivery, registered mail and email all count. Use the prescribed Wage Exemption Application Form with its supporting documents. A group of companies applying for a national exemption submits to the Regional Council where its head office sits.
Which MIBCO office serves George, Knysna and Mossel Bay?
The Eastern Cape Region serves George, Knysna, Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn, even though these towns sit in the Western Cape. MIBCO draws its regions by magisterial district, not by province.
