If any of this sounds familiar, this page is for you.

You've received a MIBCO Non-Compliance Notice and you don't fully understand what it covers or how exposed you actually are.

A MIBCO Designated Agent has notified you of an upcoming inspection and you're not confident your wage records, leave registers, and online returns will hold up to scrutiny.

You've been managing compliance in-house, but with the 2025–2028 agreement in effect, you're not certain your wage schedules, leave entitlements, and employment records reflect the current requirements.

You run multiple branches and you have no way of knowing whether each one is consistently compliant or whether one site is quietly carrying a liability.

You've never had a formal compliance review. And that quiet uncertainty, the one that surfaces every time someone mentions MIBCO - hasn't gone away.

Regulatory Risk Assessment // MIBCO 2025-2028

Here's what most motor industry employers don't realise until it's too late:

MIBCO doesn't only penalise deliberate non-compliance. Outdated wage schedules, miscalculated leave, incomplete employment registers, and missed online returns can all trigger back-pay claims and compliance orders - regardless of intent.

The 2025–2028 MIBCO Regulations introduced updated wage rates, revised leave provisions, and new reporting requirements. If your business hasn't been formally reviewed since the new agreement came into effect, there is a real possibility something has slipped.

The question isn't whether your business has gaps.

The question is whether you'll find them first or MIBCO does.

"Everything's up to date, I get regular updates, and I don't even have to think about it. It just works."

Before Three One Solutions, I was stressed. My MIBCO account wasn't up to date, communication was a mess. Now? Completely handled.

Independent MIBCO Investigation & Review

Introducing the Strategic
MIBCO Compliance Audit.

The Strategic Audit is a focused, 5-day compliance investigation & review conducted across your business - branch by branch - against the full requirements of the 2025–2028 MIBCO Regulations.

It is not a report generated from a checklist. It is a hands-on, expert-led review conducted by a team that works exclusively in South Africa's motor industry - covering every area MIBCO Inspectors are trained to examine.

You'll know exactly where you stand in writing.

At the end of the audit, you receive a detailed written Audit Report documenting every compliance gap identified across your branches. Not a vague summary. A specific, actionable record of what was found, where, and what it means for your business.

This is the document that puts you in control. Whether you choose to act on it yourself, work with your internal team, or bring us in for execution - you'll have a clear, prioritised picture of exactly what needs to happen next.

Audit Scope

Every area MIBCO Inspectors are trained to examine.

01

Wage schedule compliance

Are your employees being paid correctly against the 2025–2028 MIBCO wage schedules for their job grade and industry segment?

02

Leave entitlements

Are annual leave, sick leave, and family responsibility leave being calculated, recorded, and managed in line with the current agreement?

03

Online returns

Are your MIBCO online returns up to date, correctly submitted, and free of the errors most likely to trigger a compliance flag?

04

Employment records

Are your employment registers, contracts, and documentation complete and compliant with MIBCO's record-keeping requirements?

05

Deductions and contributions

Are MIBCO levies, sick pay fund contributions, and other prescribed deductions being calculated and remitted correctly?

06

Branch-by-branch consistency

If you operate multiple branches, the audit reviews each one individually because one non-compliant branch creates exposure for your entire business.

Process / Transparency

"We've always managed our own compliance."

Compliance works until something changes and no one notices. Our audit confirms exactly where you stand TODAY under the current agreement.

Risk Mitigation

"What if the audit finds something serious?"

That's the point. Finding gaps yourself means you can fix them quietly. If MIBCO finds them first, you're looking at back-pay claims and DRC referrals.

Urgency / Exposure

"What if I'm already too far behind to fix this?"

It's rarely as bad as it feels. Most gaps are fixable once they're clearly mapped. The audit gives you that map — and we help you defend your position.

Accessibility / Scale

"Is this right for a small workshop or single-branch operation?"

Yes. A single non-compliant branch carries exactly the same legal exposure as one branch in a larger group. Our audit is priced per branch so a single-site business pays a flat fee for complete clarity.

Everything you get for R2,500 per branch.

Total investment: R2,500 per branch — less if you have more.

Questions we get asked before the audit.

Our team works through your compliance documentation and records over 5 days — examining wage calculations, leave records, employment registers, online returns, and MIBCO contributions against the current agreement. The process is structured to minimise disruption to your business.
The audit is conducted remotely as standard — which keeps the price fixed at R2,500 per branch. If you'd prefer an on-site audit, that's absolutely available. On-site visits are quoted separately.
The decision is entirely yours. Your Audit Report belongs to you — you can action the findings yourself, work with your internal team, or ask us to provide a quote for execution support. Strategy and execution are priced separately.
The agreement tells you what the rules are. The audit tells you whether your business is actually following them. Reading the agreement doesn't review your wage calculations or check your leave records. The audit does.
Yes — and we strongly recommend it. Multi-branch pricing works on a sliding scale: R2,200 per branch for 2–3 branches, R2,000 for 4–6, and R1,800 for 7 or more. Your exact rate is confirmed on your discovery call.
Notify us immediately. Our team can advise you on how to manage the inspection process and what to communicate to the Designated Agent. Engaging a compliance specialist before and during an inspection is your right under South African labour law.
Completely. Everything discussed, reviewed, and documented during the audit is strictly between your business and ThreeOneSolutions. We do not share client information with MIBCO or any third party.

KNOWWHEREYOUSTAND

One compliance gap - a miscalculated wage schedule, an incomplete leave register, a missed online return can trigger a back-pay claim that far outweighs the cost of this audit. The audit doesn't create your compliance problem. It finds it - while you still have the chance to fix it quietly.
